EPSRC CENTRES FOR DOCTORAL TRAINING
In November 2013, the University was successful in securing EPSRC funding for eight Centres for Doctoral Training (CDTs), including the renewal of three that were already running, and is a partner in other successful bids by other universities. An additional award was made in March 2014. The first cohorts of students started in October 2014. Details of individual programmes can be found by clicking on the CDT Research Themes tab above.
EPSRC DOCTORAL TRAINING PARTNERSHIP (DTP)
The EPSRC Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) enables the University of Cambridge to develop future leaders by funding doctoral training across a wide range of Engineering and Physical Science research areas. The research in which doctoral students are involved includes discovery-led projects in new and innovative areas, as well as that which addresses established themes which are strategically important.
